  • The issue in which the access denied message was shown in Activity Stream for new users granted with EventQ permissions is fixed.
  • Fixed the issue in which the table filter function fails to show the filter keyword (that's used to filter the list in the column header), when a user tries to filter documents in the List Documents page.
  • The entire description is now shown in the HTML email received when a tracker artifact is created.
  • The entire content of comments is shown in the HTML email sent whenever a tracker artifact is updated with comments. Also, the New column is now followed by the Old column in all the update emails.

  • Fixed the issue in which high traffic was seen during TeamForge and RabbitMQ communication.
  • Fixed the issue in which the TeamForge system error was thrown when clicking the Activity Stream button after EventQ was deleted and added again in Project Admin > Tools page.
  • Fixed the issue in which the EventQ initialization failed during the provisioning of TeamForge upgrade.
  • Fixed the OpenSSL issue that led to failed SSL certificate verification when TeamForge is installed or upgraded on a RHEL/CentOS 7.4 server.
  • Datamart reports are now showing the data as expected.
  • Fixed the highly potential SVN and Git vulnerability (as found in CVE-2017-9800) by upgrading Subversion to version 1.8.19.
  • Fixed the issue in which the TeamForge's main menu bar (black) was missing after the multi-box installation.
  • Fixed the issue in which the TrackerIncrementalJob failed to run after upgrading to TeamForge 17.8 due to the inconsistency found in handling CLOB characters in Oracle.
  • SCM related fixed issues
    • The Create Repository button in the Web UI is disabled as expected until the REST API functionality (that was called during the repository creation process) returns the result.
    • Fixed the issue related to the Code Browser in which the scrollbar used to perform infinite scroll was not displayed for large screens.
    • Fixed the issue in which pagination controls were added for subsequent pages during a code review even for patch sets with files that were not accomodated completely on the first page.
    • Fixed the issue in which the subfolder that was created during the first file upload for a review comment, is duplicated during subsequent file uploads.
    • The Graph view works as expected and also the graph renders properly on Internet Explorer 11.
    • The Merge and Create buttons are shown properly on the 'All' branches tab in GIT repository.
    • Fixed the issue where the icons were not shown for the changed paths to which the code reviews were copied.
    • Fixed the issue in which the reviewer selector in the code reviewer UI was not working correctly.

Known issues

While upgrading from TeamForge 17.1 (or earlier) to TeamForge 17.8 Update 1 on a new hardware, Gerrit initialization fails and the following error shows up: Caught exception while trying to start service 'gerrit': Gerrit /usr/sbin/ctf-git-integration-ng-setup.sh has failed with error code 15. This is a known issue. As a workaround, run the command teamforge apply-permissions after teamforge provision.
